You do not need to arrive with experience, confidence, athletic ability, or plans to join the military.
You only need to be willing to learn, grow, and become part of a team. Romeoville High School Marine Corps JROTC welcomes students from all backgrounds and experience levels. Some cadets join because they want to become more confident or organized. Others are looking for leadership opportunities, new friendships, physical challenges, competitive teams, or a stronger sense of belonging at school. Whatever brings you through the door, there is a place for you here.
No Military Commitment
Marine Corps JROTC is not a military recruiting program, and joining does not create any obligation to enter the Armed Forces.
Our purpose is to help students become confident leaders, responsible citizens, and capable young adults prepared for college, careers, public service, the skilled trades, or whatever path they choose after high school.

Similar to a PE class or joining a sports team, you will need to complete a Physical Evaluation for MCJROTC.
